Sarina Mack, Co-Author of Kinyatta E. Gray's Bestselling Book "Passing As Straight," Marries This Weekend in Lavish New Orleans Ceremony On 4/3/21

When Sarina Mack agreed to co-author a six-woman book anthology called "Passing As Straight," she had no idea that her life would change as she once knew it.

We all knew that we had embarked on a project that would change the lives of those who read the book, but I'm not too sure that we had given any thought to how sharing our stories would profoundly change our personal lives.

The book "Passing As Straight" is a compilation of six true stories of women who hid their actual sexual orientation to prevent discrimination, rejection, and even death.

Eventually, living life hiding behind a facade (to make our presence more appealing and accepting in the eyes of others) was stifling and suffocating. It did nothing to advance our personal brands of happiness and quite often left us feeling trapped in a world where we couldn't be free to love who we wanted and be our authentic selves.

That's until we decided to walk in our truth and live our lives according to our own convictions.

After the book's release, Sarina met her future wife who had read the book and became smitten with the beautiful and compassionate Sarina.

Next was a whirlwind romance between two highly accomplished professional women from equally prominent backgrounds with loving and supportive families. Sarina, like me, is a beloved only child.

I'm so gratified that a project born out of our unselfish desire to be transparent about our lives culminated into an epic love story between two women who found love when they decided to walk in their truth.

Congratulations, Sarina and Elaina, on your upcoming nuptials on 4/3/21. I wish you both the absolute best that the world has to offer you.

The book, "Passing As Straight," is available now online at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, and Walmart.

Will your love story be the next story born out of walking in your truth?
